Michael Joerin

Founder & Chief Executive

I have been a successful corporate sales leader and entrepreneur for nearly 30 years. In 1995 I founded my first business - an IT reseller, delivering Microsoft, Sage and IT outsourcing solutions, growing annual revenues to several million pounds before successfully exiting the business in 2002. After a demanding and rewarding career in software sales where I managed world-class account management and sales teams across EMEA and APAC, the desire to once again run my own business came calling and in 2016 I decided on a change of direction, setting up property consultancy Stowhill Estates with my wife Lucy. We are focused on providing an exemplary customer experience in an under served sector, combining high quality marketing with strong negotiation skills and expert knowledge of the UK property market. I now enjoy applying my years of high-level sales and negotiation experience to the property sector where I can help my clients achieve the best price for their homes in a tough market, whilst ensuring the transaction process is as smooth and stress-free as possible! When I'm not helping my clients sell homes I'm a keen golfer and you can often find me at Frilford Heath Golf Club or on one of the beautiful courses in the Algarve where we enjoy holidaying as a family. I'm an enthusiastic amateur cook and proud dad to two girls. I enjoy spending family time with our children and dogs in our lovely village where we are lucky enough to have the beautiful Oxfordshire countryside on our doorstep.

Lucy Joerin

Founder & Chief Marketing Officer

I started my career in TV & Entertainment PR in 1998. After nearly 20 successful years working for some of the biggest names in showbiz in the UK and internationally, and after running my own PR business for 5 years, I set up Stowhill Estates with my husband Michael in 2016. Stowhill Estates was born from my desire to combine my passion for property with a drive to provide high quality property marketing and fantastic customer service in an industry that has fallen short in recent years. As a property investor myself I have too often experienced poor property marketing and lacklustre service from agents, leaving both buyer and vendor disappointed. Michael and I decided we could use our combined experience and expertise in sales and marketing and add in a dash of good old fashioned hard work to create a company that continually surpasses our customers' expectations. Since our launch two years ago we have helped hundreds of people move on with their lives by helping them sell their homes for the best price in the shortest timeframe possible, and with the least amount of stress and disruption, and we're looking forward to helping even more. We have a fantastic local, national and international network at our fingertips, but our real strength comes from our personal touch, which is why we believe that choosing to sell your home with us could be the smartest decision you ever make. When I'm not selling unique and beautiful homes in Oxfordshire and West Berkshire I'm a proud mum of two beautiful girls and an active member of the local community in my village of Childrey. I enjoy singing in the local choir, clay pigeon shooting with Michael and walking my two dogs across the stunning countryside on our doorstep.

Sarah Turner

Sales Manager

I have enjoyed a varied career so far with roles including Hotel Manager for a large chain, Sales Negotiator for a multi-branch estate agency and Business Centre Manager for a site on Grove Business Park. All my roles have required ninja-level organisation and customer service with a smile, which I love bringing to the Stowhill team! As Operations Manager, I’m often the first point of contact for our clients when their journey with Stowhill Estates begins. You’re most likely to find me chatting away to clients on the phone, taking care of the initial legalities involved with selling a house, arranging the photography, styling and marketing of our lovely homes and keeping the rest of the team organised! I have lived locally since I was ten and have since raised my family in Grove, so I know South Oxfordshire and its surrounding villages like the back of my hand. My family is incredibly important to me, so I love spending time and making memories with my parents, siblings and two teenage daughters. As a devoted mum, I spend my evenings and weekends taking my girls to football matches and taekwondo events across the country and when I have time for myself, I enjoy unwinding with my husband by taking carp fishing trips, walking our dog Zeus or seeking out a challenge! I’ve completed the London Marathon and next on the list is to climb Snowden. Watch this space!

Rosanagh Wilson

Director - Cheltenham and North Cotswolds

Rosanagh is the go-to agent for unique and beautiful homes in Cheltenham and North Cotswolds. Rosanagh's clients, family and friends describe her as 'inspiring, calm, loyal and good to be around.' These qualities were put to good use over the last ten years when she helped to build a bespoke estate agency in Worcestershire. As well as providing a world-class service, Rosanagh understands the needs and desires of sellers and buyers, and truly knows how to make the best of a house to maximise its saleability. She understands that selling your home is a 'big deal' and she never forgets that it can be emotional, tricky and occasionally, a relief! Rosanagh's background in nursing with the NHS made her an excellent listener, and bringing up her five children has helped her develop into an excellent negotiator! When she's not busy selling houses, Rosanagh loves spending time with her family, seeing friends, shopping, walking and generally making the most of life. Good food and wine are quite high up her list too!

Emily Francis

Client Relationship Manager

Emily is a Client Relationship Manager for our wonderful clients in Cheltenham and North Cotswolds. Emily started her career in 2017, after returning from an 18-month trip around the world. She learned the business of estate agency by doing everything from admin to viewings, negotiating, sales progression and above all, meeting both clients and buyers. Emily loves getting stuck into it all and says 'there's very little in this industry that I don't enjoy!' One of Emily's favourite parts of the job is meeting lots of different people and helping them sell their unique and beautiful homes. When she's not working, you'll find Emily on a long walk and stopping for a pub lunch with her dog Odie, signing up to a marathon and instantly regretting it, or booking a holiday!

Tim Haycocks

Managing Partner - Berkshire

​​Before setting up Stowhill Estates Berkshire with my wife Julia, I spent the previous 20 years working all over the world in sales & relationship management roles in organisations of every possible size, I have always been obsessive about delivering excellent customer experiences. I have also always been fascinated (and perhaps equally obsessed) by the property market, especially as a lifelong Berkshire resident of over 40 years who has seen so many changes in the local area over that time. Launching the Berkshire division of Stowhill Estates allows me to continue using all of the skills I have acquired over the last 20 years. The major difference being that now I get to look after people and relationships that really matter to me. Buying and selling a home is intensely personal and I can now use my experience and expertise to support people on that journey by implementing all of the little things that I know remove stress and make the entire process more pleasurable. Julia and I live in the heart of Berkshire with our Labrador, Amber, and we are heavily involved in our local community in terms of events, teams and of course, pubs. I love getting out on the golf course, snowboarding, carpentry and woodwork and playing guitar/singing in bands. That’s just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to hobbies but those alone bring with them more than enough equipment for 1 lifetime - for which I apologise unreservedly to Jules!

Julia Haycocks

Director - Berkshire

Having spent a decade in the wine industry, some people thought I was mad for giving up the ‘dream job’ for something new - but finding people their perfect home excites me even more than finding them a delicious glass of wine! I’ve been working in Marketing for over 20 years, and have been fortunate enough to be involved in so many aspects of several industries (mainly wine), from customer marketing, to innovation, to Head of Marketing for a beer club, to brand manager for an Australian wine brand (conveniently named RedHeads!). It’s fair to say, if you need wine advice, I’m your girl! Having the chance to be a part of people’s lives in a more personal way is something I find incredibly rewarding. My husband Tim and I love nothing more than spending time with people and building meaningful, long-term relationships. Outside of my working life, I volunteer for various things - litter picking in local areas, working with Guide Dogs for the Blind (which is how our beautiful Labrador Amber came to live with us!) and supporting local animal charities. I love being creative – photography, painting, sculpting, glass-blowing … you name it, I’ve tried it. I’m a fair-weather golfer (luckily for Tim!) and you’ll also find me daydreaming of my next snowboarding holiday from the garden of our local pub.

Poppy Joerin

Head of Security & Cuddles

Poppy has been a valued member of the Stowhill Estates team for over 12 years. Extremely loving but very noisy, Poppy ensures we never miss a delivery, and she also helps vet our visitors. Be prepared for her to greet you with her favourite toy (a stuffed unicorn!) and expect to give her lots of cuddles before she'll allow you in!
